Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements. Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration, subject to competition individual programs may require higher pre-requisite grades and/or higher overall averages:
English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
Physics (SPH4U)
Mathematics [one of: Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) or Advanced Functions (MHF4U)]
The minimum grade(s) required in the subject prerequisites (normally in the 70% range) will be determined subject to competition.
IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL ibt: 92-93, TOEFL pbt: 580. Applicants who have completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma must present grades of 4 or higher in three Higher Level and three Standard Level subjects with a grade total of 28 or higher. Subject to competition, applicants may be required to present averages/grades above the minimum. IB Higher Levels with grades of 5 or higher may be considered for transfer credit on an individual basis. Engineering students are not eligible for transfer credits for core and professional engineering courses using IB subjects.

Our bachelor of architectural science (BArchSc) program aims to capture your potential to help create a better built environment. The integrated program enables you to choose the specialty that best suits your strengths and goals. The first three years of study are foundational. You and your classmates will take the same courses, developing skills in critical thinking and the fundamentals of architectural science. In fourth year, the picture of your career will come into focus. You'll specialize in one of three areas: architecture, building science or project management. No matter which path you take, you'll graduate with the perspective and skills you need to design and redefine a more sustainable built environment for the future. The building science option offers an advanced level of technical studies into the properties, selection and design of building construction materials and assemblies. As a graduate of this specialization, you will find career opportunities working as a building science consultant, a technical specialist in architects' offices, or an expert in the research, development and testing of building products or systems. You may also find employment in material fabrication, manufacturing and construction. Co-op option available with program duration of 5 year.
