国际学生入学条件
Applicants must register for the Credential Assembly Service (CAS). It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure that transcripts from each U.S. college or university ever attended are sent to the CAS, regardless of credits being transferred or applied toward degree requirements. If an applicant is seeking readmission, they must submit a new CAS report. Once the CAS file is complete, applicants should allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for the S.J. Quinney College of Law to receive and process the CAS report.
You may apply before you receive your undergraduate degree. However, before you matriculate, you must provide official transcripts showing that you have been awarded a baccalaureate degree from a college or university whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or be the foreign equivalent of a U.S. baccalaureate degree.
You are required to have one, but may have up to three letters of recommendation submitted on your behalf. Letters of recommendation should come from people who know you well and can speak to your character, analytical thinking and reasoning ability, originality, imagination, oral communication skills, written communication ability, persistence, self- discipline, study habits, judgment and maturity, and leadership ability, among other things.
Candidates are required to submit a personal statement of no more than (2) two pages in length, with one (1) inch margins, double-spaced, and a font size no smaller the 10-pt. The Admission Committee's goal is to assemble an intellectually stimulating community of students composed of individuals who have diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

课程简介
To earn a J.D. at the S.J. Quinney College of Law, students must complete a minimum of 88 semester hours and graduate with a grade point average of at least 2.5. In addition, students must attend at least 80 percent of regularly scheduled class time in each class. The J.D. program is a full-time, day only program. Part-time or evening programs are not available. The College of Law offers a broad spectrum of courses and programs. We have an integrated clinical program that provides live and simulated opportunities for students to assume an attorney role and to study that role in the classroom. We publish the student-edited Utah Law Review and participate in a number of national moot court and skills competitions, which complement our comprehensive program in appellate litigation and trial advocacy.
