To be considered for admission to the master of science program, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
Bachelor of science degree from a reputable institution, either in electrical engineering or in math, physics and other engineering disciplines
At least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Statement of purpose must be an original essay submitted with application. Scanned copies will not be accepted for submission.
Resume must be submitted with application
Bioengineering applicants must complete essay questions and an application background survey.
Official transcripts we require one official copy of each previous transcript.
Letters of recommendation two are required, except for Bioengineering, which requires three letters of recommendation.
Official GRE scores the college has removed the evaluation of GRE scores for admission decisions.
TOEFL iBT :- 79 with Reading - 8, Listening - 7, Speaking - 18, Writing - 16
IELTS:- 6.5 with Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing - 5.5

The master of science in electrical engineering at CU Denver is geared toward electrical engineers who are interested in advancing their careers or move into leadership positions. There is no specific curriculum for the master of science degree except for a breadth requirement, which is a combination of electrical engineering courses chosen by the student.<br>At the CU Denver College of Engineering, Design and Computing, we focus on providing our students with a comprehensive engineering education at the undergraduate, graduate and professional level. Faculty conduct research that spans our five disciplines of civil, electrical and mechanical engineering, bioengineering, and computer science and engineering. The college collaborates with industry from around the state, our laboratories and research opportunities give students the hands-on experience they need to excel in the professional world.
