Freshman applicants are students who have:

Completed their secondary education and have earned a certificate of completion which enables them to be admitted to a

university in their home country
Never been enrolled as a university student
Take the ACT with Writing Test, SAT with Writing or SAT with Essay by December of your last year at secondary school
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination:
Internet-based test (iBT): Minimum score of 80 or better
Paper-based test (completed prior to Oct. 2017): Minimum score of 550 or better
Revised paper-delivered test (completed Oct. 2017 or later): Minimum score of 60 or better
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination (academic modules): Accepted with a 6.5 or better

band score (academic modules).

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering offers programs leading to the degrees of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering.The B.S. / M.S. program is an accelerated program that must be completed ideally within five years Graduate units taken during your senior year count towards the completion of the five year MS program Before the end of your junior year, undergraduate ECE majors may apply for admission to the B.S. / M.S. program in ECE. Application packages are available in the ECE Student Affairs Office. At the end of their senior year, students who have been admitted to the program have the option of filling out a B.S. graduation form and leaving the program with only a B.S. degree if all of the requirements are met
