The integrated B.S./M.S. (Bachelor of Science and Master of Science) program administered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is designed to make it possible for highly motivated and qualified B.S. students to obtain both an undergraduate degree and an advanced degree within an accelerated timeline. If you enjoy working with a wide array of electronics and are interested in learning how to research, design, test and make them, you may want to study electrical engineering. Accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET, UTSA's Electrical Engineering degree develops a strong foundation in the engineering sciences. Youll acquire the analysis, design and synthesis tools needed to work effectively with many traditional and emerging technologies. In this program, youll choose between concentrations like Communications, Computer Engineering, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), Electronic Materials and Devices, Systems and Control, and Electric Power Engineering. Each of these will help you develop a niche focus that will propel you into careers with electronics companies, high-tech industries and government agencies.<br>UTSA is all about your success.
