Submit official transcripts from all high schools attended with a certified translation of each transcript. Your school must send official transcripts.
The following units of study in high school are required to be considered for admission to FAU- English (3 with substantial composition): 4 units, Mathematics (Algebra 1 level and above): 4 units, Natural Science (2 with lab): 3 units, Social Science: 3 units, Foreign Language (of the same language): 2 units, Academic Electives: 2 units. Language Proficiency - TOEFL 550 or above, TOEFL IBT 80 or above, IELTS 6.5 or above.

Electrical engineering is the design and analysis of any device or system that uses electricity or electromagnetic radiation, including computers and the networks that connect them, consumer electronic goods like MP3 players, satellite radio and HDTV, power generation and transmission systems, wireless cellular and wireline telephone networks, integrated circuits and electronic devices, electronic motors and actuators, MRI and other medical instruments and more. The variety of challenges facing our modern society means that electrical engineers can look forward to highly rewarding, dynamic careers.<br><br>The Master of Science with Major in Computer Engineering (MSCE) prepares students for careers in industry in various positions such as IoT Engineer, Computer Systems Engineer/Architect, Cryptographic Engineer, Network Engineer, Hardware Engineer, Embedded Systems Engineer, Application Engineer, Wireless Communications Engineer, Digital Design Engineer, and Robotics Engineer. Students in the program build a foundational background in computer architecture and design, software development and computer systems, and are exposed to the latest advances in various areas including embedded systems, structured VLSI design, design of digital systems, cryptography, computer networks, wireless communications, vehicular networks, IoT and smart systems, parallel and distributed systems, medical information systems, machine learning, artificial intelligence, robotics, and signal processing. The program can be completed on campus or fully online.
