In order to meet the minimum requirements for admission, you must have completed a four-year college course of study and hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, be in good academic standing at the last college or university attended, and have attained a minimum/cumulative grade point average of 2.50 (4 point system) from your coursework. A score of 550 on the paper-based exam or 80 on the internet TOEFL. IELTS: 6.5.

The Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering is intended to meet the needs of students who wish to prepare for careers in areas such as construction and project management, design and analysis of complex systems (including structures, such as tall buildings and bridges), environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, water resources engineering, consulting and research, as well as doctoral studies. The program provides advanced study within the area of civil engineering and allows students to select coursework, with adviser approval, in the areas of construction engineering and management, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering and water resources engineering.
