Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. If you are a UA graduate or graduate from an engineering program accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, GRE is waived.
Undergraduate GPA: 3 (on the scale of 4)
GRE score (one of the following combinations):
Analytical Writing = 3, Minimum Quantitative Score = 159
Analytical Writing = 3.5, Minimum Quantitative Score = 153
Analytical Writing = 4, Minimum Quantitative Score = 149
Analytical Writing = 4.5, Minimum Quantitative Score = 146

You must complete an English language equivalency test as part of your admission to a UA graduate program.
Your TOEFL score must be one of the following:

Computer-based: 213
Paper-based: 550

Students pursuing a M.S. in Chemical Engineering deepen their fundamental knowledge of chemical engineering and gain professional skills and hand-on experiences for industrial careers.<br><br>The program offers a thesis and non-thesis option. The thesis option requires 24 semester hours of graduate course work and 6 semester hours of thesis research. An oral defense of the thesis is also required.<br>Our curriculum teaches students how to apply the principles of chemistry, biology, physics and math to solve problems in industry. They receive a rich, interactive education and go on to change the world.
