The department aspires to be among the top in the nation, educating and devloping industry's leaders and innovators to be a first choice for undergraduate and graduate studnets, to attract the best quality faculty and research personell, and to actively participate in the ongoing global renewal of the chemical and biochemical engineering discipline, particularly in the areas of bio, materials and envirenmental technologies. With a degree in Chemical Engineering, you will apply the principles of chemistry, mathematics, physics, and biology to study the energy content and composition of materials in order to devlop an understanding fo the nature of matter, the forces that act on matter, and the relationship between them. You will get th eopportunity to learn about, and with with, reactors and other material processes.
