Pre-Engineering Specialization in Chemical Engineering at University of Houston-Clear Lake. Through this course of study, your engineering education will be immersed in the chemistry and engineering instruction you need to be prepared for a future in chemical engineering. You will also enroll in typical university core curriculum and foundational curriculum courses to give you a well-rounded college experience.After completing the coursework for this two-year program, you may apply for admission to the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston, transfer to a different university system, or remain at UHCL. This gives you the power to choose the direction of your education and your future.
