课程简介
The Chemical Engineering Department has links to a number of multi-disciplinary centres at Queen’s, including: the Human Mobility Research Centre, Green Centre Canada, Innovation Park, the Queen’s Centre for Energy and Power Electronics Research (ePOWER), and the Queen’s Innovation Connector. The Department also houses the Polymers Research Group (PRG), with strengths in polymer reaction engineering, processing and rheology. Our department is big enough to ensure breadth of research activities while fostering a cohesive learning environment. We offer opportunities to collaborate with scientists in the Human Mobility Research Centre and Computational Science and Engineering, as well as with co-supervising faculty in other departments. Several students from our department have visited international research laboratories including those in France, Switzerland and the Netherlands. In addition to academic and industrial research careers, our graduates find employment in the public sector, the private sector, consulting, sales, and marketing, and in industry including finance, petroleum, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing.
