As one of the few four-year universities to offer a degree in software engineering, UNC provides professional opportunities you'll typically only find in graduate programs. You'll get to work in real-world settings through internship programs and part-time job opportunities, as well as our on-campus computing facilities. You'll also get to work closely with award-winning faculty who bring professional computer information systems and software development experience to the classroom. The development of software programs and applications is growing exponentially, and you'll be on the edge of discovery when you work in this exciting and ever changing field. The College of Natural Health Sciences and Monfort College of Business have combined faculty expertise to offer this program. You'll take credits in your required major coursework, plus six credits in your major electives and a three-credit senior project.
