Scanned copies of your official transcript are preferred. Web printouts of your unofficial transcript are not acceptable. The Graduate School requires two letters of recommendation. TOEFL score of 80 on the Internet-based test. IELTS score of 6.5, with no band below 5.0.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers programs leading to the Master of Science (MS), Master of Engineering (MEng), and PhD in mechanical engineering. Our curriculum includes theory, design and laboratory experience in the areas of thermal fluids, mechanics, dynamic systems, and design and materials. Our program seeks to train students to become future leaders of the industry. The MEng track prepares students for professional practice and requires no thesis or project. The PhD program is a research-intensive, multidisciplinary program. Funding is available in the form of teaching and research assistantships. Many of our assistantships include union and health benefits.
