Mechanical Engineering Technologists’ responsibilities often include developing, designing and analyzing machine parts and mechanical systems; setting up and programming automation equipment; preparing and presenting technical reports and drawings; using precision instruments for inspection and testing; planning, implementing and evaluating quality assurance procedures.
