Biomedical engineers conduct research and study the engineering aspects of biological systems to create new devices and procedures to improve health and quality of life. The biomechanics track focuses on mechanical engineering fundamentals, with specialization in: cardiovascular mechanics, orthopedics, rehabilitation engineering, system simulators. Students graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.<br>Gain important practical professional experience through the optional co-op and placement program. Through co-op, youll alternate semesters of work and school following your sophomore year.
