Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - 90 Overall (25 writing, 25 speaking)
IELTS Academic - 6.5 Overall (6.5 writing, 6.5 speaking, 6.0 reading, 6.0 listening)
International Baccalaureate (IB) - Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches and Physics (HL recommended), minimum 4 in each. Chemistry and English A, minimum 4 in each. One other HL or SL course, minimum 4. Total 32. 6s and 7s recommended for competitive programs.
Ontario students: six Grade 12 U and/or M courses including
Advanced Functions (minimum final grade of 70% is required)
Calculus and Vectors (minimum final grade of 70% is required)
Chemistry (minimum final grade of 70% is required)
Physics (minimum final grade of 70% is required)
English (ENG4U) (minimum final grade of 70% is required)
Admission averages: Individual selection from the mid- to high 80s

Waterloo's innovative management engineering program provides undergraduate students with an engineering education required to understand, design, implement, and manage complex management systems upon which organisations depend.Management engineers use industrial engineering principles, math, and computer programming to optimise and improve processes in any organisation. By graduation, students have gained a strong background in data analytics, information systems, operations and supply chain management, and organisational behaviour that can take them just about anywhere, from software to finance, supply chain, logistics, health care, and more.
