Applicants to the master’s degree program should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or science and have minimum experience that includes the equivalent of a Computer Science and Engineering minor. Applicants should further meet the following minimum criteria and the materials for admission: A minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0. A minimum GRE Quantitative score of at least 156. International applicants have an additional language requirement as outlined on the Graduate School’s international admission page. A one-page personal statement describing research interests and career goals. Two letters of recommendation. TOEFL: 79 IBT, 550 PBT IELTS: 6.5 (academic version)

课程简介

Our research focuses on developing systems that are able to perceive, understand and respond to the world around them. This area of research has a wide range of applications, from design optimization and behavior modeling to vision-based surveillance, assistive robotics, autonomous systems and advanced manufacturing.<br>Faculty members in the department have expertise in several areas relevant to intelligent systems, particularly in computer vision, robotics and evolutionary computing. In computer vision, we investigate image and video segmentation, perceptual grouping, biometrics, object detection and tracking, activity and intent recognition.<br> In robotics and control systems, we investigate human-robot interaction, multi-robot control and collaboration, infrastructure inspection robotic systems, and human-robot collaboration.<br> In evolutionary computing, we investigate genetic algorithms and their applications in computer game AI, search, optimization and machine learning.
