The IB certificate and career programs are not acceptable for admission unless another recognized High School diploma or certificate has been awarded.
In general grades above 80 percent in high school advanced mathematics chemistry physics and English are normally required for consideration.
If you did not complete high school chemistry and physics but have high marks in other sciences please do not be discouraged from applying Our program has the flexibility to provide the chemistry and physics background you need during Engineering One Students who do not achieve direct entry from high school can complete introductory courses such as chemistry and physics at Memorial and apply to join Engineering One in a later semester.

The five-year bachelor of engineering is a co-operative program composed of eight full-time academic terms and a minimum of four full-time work terms. You will have the opportunity to apply the engineering concepts and theories you learn in the classrooms and laboratories to the real world as you complete work terms that will give you the equivalent of up to two years of real engineering work experience prior to graduation.<br><br>Computer engineering is a fast-changing discipline concerned with the design and analysis of computer systems applied to the solution of practical problems. It encompasses both computer hardware and software design in applications ranging from telecommunications and information systems (such as the Internet or telephone networks) to instrumentation and robotics.<br><br>Computer engineering at Memorial includes a mandatory, integrated co-operative education program in which students gain up to two years of practical work experience. You will take courses in computer hardware, software and communications systems and learn about circuit analysis, systems and signals, digital logic design, electronics, software design and implementation, computer architecture and microprocessors, computer networking, concurrent programming and real-time operating systems.
