The Electrical Engineering Technology major is part of the Electrical Engineering Technology program. The Electrical Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, www.abet.org.<br><br>When you study electrical engineering technology, you study the lifeblood of today's technology: electronics and computers. Electronics technology is a part of most everything society relies on, from air conditioning to airplanes, and from trains to televisions. And because technology is constantly evolving, you will be engaged in learning methods that will help you adapt to and embrace new technologies and their uses.<br><br>Students in this program can apply to participate in a five-year combined bachelor's/master's degree program in electrical engineering technology.<br><br>The technology and equipment everyone uses on a daily basis is made up of computers and electronics. Polytechnic graduates create life-changing devices and improve essential, everyday products for industries that include manufacturing, communications, biomedical, science and research, transportation, renewable energy, communications and entertainment.
