Prospective first-year students must:
• Have a 3.00 recalculated grade point average (GPA) (a B or better where A=4.00) from a secondary school. Please note: GPA recalculation occurs during the admissions evaluation process and is based on grades from courses outlined in our competency requirements below.

If you are intrigued by various fields of engineering and see yourself in a business leadership role, an engineering management major will set you up for success. Students seeking a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management glean knowledge from a range of disciplines and position themselves to become industry and entrepreneurial leaders. Engineering management majors learn to recognize the need for improved manufacturing processes and understand customer demand for new products and technologies. They craft a skillset steeped in the business management side of engineering while also focusing on one of the University of Arizona's specific engineering majors. Undergraduates gain real-world experience through design, entrepreneurship and internships programs, and club activities. This major primes students to lead their own projects and ventures, or those at global companies.
