If you are applying with an IB Diploma from outside of Canada, you should present a minimum score of 28. Many programs will require a higher score for admission consideration. Reported bonus points from TOK and EE will be taken into consideration.
The secondary school graduation certificate which would admit a student to an internationally recognized university in his or her home country is normally acceptable for admission to the University of Guelph.

In Environmental Geomatics you'll get the opportunity to study the processes and properties of the biophysical environment, both in the field and in the classroom. Then you'll apply your geographical knowledge and understanding of our ever-changing environment in ways that are relevant to building a sustainable and resilient society.<br>Upon completing this program, graduates become leaders at local consulting firms, various government agencies, and non-government organizations. This includes work as geoscientists & geo-technicians, GIS analysts, land-use planners, environmental consultants, educators (including outdoor education), parks and recreation managers.<br>Here are just a few careers our graduates have successfully pursued: Professional geoscientist, Geomatics specialist, Geomorphologist<br>Ecoscientists,Geo-technicians, GIS analysts, Land-use planners, Environmental consultants, Educators (including outdoor education)<br>Parks and recreation manager<br>You will gain expertise in earth systems such as freshwater and carbon as well as develop skills in evaluating environmental risks and hazards. This mix of scientific and technical training is in demand and can lead to work in fields like flood-plain mapping, emergency management, rural planning and more.<br>The emphasis on geomatics and spatial technologies (such as geographic information systems and remote sensing) will give you a recognized specialization as an environmental professional. This program provides opportunities for study of the processes and properties of the biophysical environment and a core foundation in the analytical techniques (i.e. Geographical Information Science and Remote Sensing) used for their interpretation, analysis and presentation.
