Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment. Alternatively, applicants may choose to do the one-year Pre-Technology preparatory program that provides all the admission requirements for this program.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 79 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.

When you graduate, you'll be prepared for an exciting career with Canadian and international avionics-approved shops and aircraft manufacturing companies.<br>The Aviation Technician - Avionics Maintenance (Co-op) program is a Transport Canada approved program (TC-2011-08-4128) with a co-operative education component. This program provides the knowledge and skills required to start a career in aircraft avionics maintenance, which is responsible for servicing, repair and maintenance of aircraft electrical and electronics systems such as communication, navigation and data systems. This program covers all aspects of aircraft avionics systems used in general aviation, corporate, charter transport category aircraft and helicopters.<br>Fanshawe's Aviation Technician Avionics Maintenance program prepares graduates for careers with Canadian aircraft maintenance and aircraft manufacturing organizations. It also provides 18 months of approved basic training credit towards the 48 months experience required to obtain a Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license, 'E' Category.
