Admission Requirements: degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent – minimum of 60% average [C] for university students, minimum of 70% [B] for college students. International applicants must provide documentation of language proficiency as per Algoma University's current language requirements.
Applicants for this program must not have a post-graduate credential in the same or closely related field. Algoma University reserves the right to refuse any application that doesn't demonstrate proficient computer programming skills.

TOEFL: 550 (paper-based) or 79 (Internet-based)

The Graduate Certificate in Mobile Software Development enables learners to apply the foundational skills of computer science to the development of applications and systems that implement the use of mobile devices in modern computer systems. Students will study the range of applications of mobile devices and will learn to develop applications on a variety of mobile platforms. Graduates will be able to apply the use of mobile devices in business, industry, social media, and gaming.
