Become an automotive service technician with this two-year program. As an Automotive Service technician, you will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose problems and repair vehicle systems. Upon completion of this program, you will possess the foundational skills and knowledge required for a career in the following automotive work environments:<br>Autobody Shop<br>Automotive Mechanic Shop<br>Vehicle Dealership<br>Self-Employed<br>The first year follows the Industry Training Authority (ITA) automotive service technician foundations course outline, and focuses on hands-on, physical skills development. You will complete a summer co-op work term between years one and two.
