The architectural design and construction technology AS degree lays a strong foundation for a career as a construction planner, architectural assistant or architectural engineer. The coursework also prepares you to pass the contractor's exam.<br><br>This curriculum is from the current college catalog and is meant to provide prospective students an example of courses taken in this degree/certificate. Students should consult an advisor for graduation information.<br><br>This program will prepare students for a position as a construction planner or as an assistant to an architect or an architectural engineer in the planning and designing of structures, using construction materials and working with contracts and specifications. If students pass the contractor's exam, they may become self-employed as contractors.
