Successful completion of minimum 24 post-secondary credits or 8 post-secondary courses* within an accredited or recognized degree or diploma in a related field (engineering or engineering technology) with an Admission GPA of 2.0 based on the most recently completed 24 post-secondary credits.
IELTS Academic - Overall 6.0 with 6.0 in each section
TOEFL iBT - Overall 80 with 20 in each section
Duolingo - 115 overall score, with a minimum score of 100 in each section

Instrumentation Engineering Technology is a crucial field that has played a significant role in the automation of industries and businesses around the world. Instrumentation engineering technologists are helping to develop new systems and technologies that enable businesses to improve productivity and safety, conserve energy and reduce pollution.<br><br>As a student in our two-year diploma program, you’ll gain access to our state-of-the-art instrumentation facility, recreating what you would find in industry to help you learn in the classroom. You will also learn how to use a variety of tools and technologies including sensors, controllers and software to create sophisticated systems that can monitor and control multiple variables in real-time.<br><br>A career in instrumentation engineering technology offers many career opportunities ranging from industrial automation and advanced manufacturing to natural resources extraction and environmental monitoring. As industries continue to invest in automation, the demand for skilled professionals is only going to grow. In the Instrumentation Engineering Technology program, you can expect to gain the knowledge and skills needed for a successful career in instrumentation technology. The program involves detailed studies of the principles and application of pneumatic, electronic, and microcomputer measurement and control systems.<br><br>Students may be eligible to participate in a 4 or 8 month co-op placement once they complete all level 1 courses, and before they complete all the level 2 courses. Successful co-op students work in a program-related industry position and gain advanced job-readiness skills. Acceptance into our co-op program is based on successful completion of first term coursework with a minimum GPA of 2.7.
