All applicants are required to have Mathematics: Methods ATAR, with equivalents considered, and Physics ATAR or Engineering Studies ATAR, with equivalents considered. It is desirable that all applicants have Mathematics: Specialist ATAR, with equivalents considered. Applications for this course are not accepted through ECU's Experience Based Entry Scheme. Provide your Secondary school results. With a Diploma or Advanced Diploma, you could also be eligible for advanced standing. Minimum requirements for secondary school results can change, depending on the country where you completed secondary study. International Baccalaureate Diploma - Minimum of 24 points (Minimum of 28 points for Law), consisting of aggregate from 3 higher level & 3 subsidiary level
English Language Requirements:
Academic IELTS - An overall band score of 6.0, with no individual band less than 6.0
TOEFL paper based - Minimum score of 550, including Test of Written English of 5 or better
TOEFL internet based - Minimum score of 70, with no individual score less than 17

The Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics and Communications) Honours combines the fundamental engineering disciplines of electronic and communication systems. This provides graduates with skills in all aspects of analog and digital circuit design, as well as communication systems and communications networks development. The course concentrates on the engineering principles required to analyse and solve problems related to the design and implementation of electronic and communication systems. Graduates will be conversant in the fundamental engineering sciences, electronic circuits and systems, digital signal processing, radio communications, fibre optic and microwave communications, computer networking, and cellular and wireless networks.
