You will learn tricks of the trade in workshops. You will discover best practice for the use of hand tools, power tools and test instruments, what employers' expectations are by participating in practical team exercises, modern electrical practice by completing practical projects in the workshop, electrical theory, the products and equipment of the trade, electrical appliances, basic introduction to electronics, 12v, 230v, 415v and control circuit wiring, an introduction to industry regulations and quality control measures, maths for the trades and communication and being part of a team.
