AAB including Mathematics and one of: Physics, Electronics, Computing, Computer Science, Further Mathematics, Design and Technology (Systems and Control), Chemistry. If you are studying further mathematics then the offer would be reduced by one grade.
Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass.
BEng (Hons) with foundation year:
CCC including mathematics C and either physics or chemistry, or equivalent.
Applicants taking the Science Practical Endorsement are required to pass.
Please note: A-level General Studies and A-level Critical Thinking are not accepted.

Our innovative BEng and MEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology courses allow you to apply cutting-edge theory to existing engineering problems and technologies. Throughout your studies, youll combine professional engineering skills with scientific research methods, equipping you for industry. Youll also have the opportunity to participate in our Professional Training placements scheme, which prepares students for roles in various technology-based sectors. Whether youre interested in graphene or quantum engineering, our BEng and MEng Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology courses give you the specialist skills you need to work on modern nanoscale device fabrication. Youll also have opportunities to work with academics in our Advanced Technology Institute through project work.<br><br>You can apply to study for either a BEng or MEng. The MEng builds on the BEng with a masters year and is a direct route to a masters qualification. Depending on your progress, you may have the option to switch to a BEng or MEng during your studies. Extensive teaching laboratories, plus networked Linux and Windows computer suites with 24-hour access, are available to all electrical and electronic engineering undergraduates.<br><br>We offer careers information, advice and guidance to all students whilst studying with us, which is extended to our alumni for three years after leaving the University. Over the last decade, our employment figures have been among the best in the UK, with 90 per cent of our electrical and electronic engineering undergraduate students going on to employment or further study (Graduate Outcomes survey 2023). Studying for our BEng/MEng in Electronic Engineering with Nanotechnology not only leads to a potentially rewarding career, it also offers an intellectually demanding and exciting opportunity to make new discoveries through research.
