BEng: AABB is the minimum requirement from S5 to be reviewed for an S6 offer
Offers are not guaranteed to applicants who meet the minimum from S5
Typically offers will be made at AAAAA by end of S6. B at Advanced Higher is equivalent to A at Higher
Additional requirements: Higher Mathematics and Physics or Engineering Science at AA. (AB or BA may be considered).
A-level standard entry requirements
BEng: AAB BBB
MEng: AAA
Additional requirements: A-level Mathematics and Physics (Design & Technology may be accepted in place of Physics, 3D or Product Design options only).
IB standard entry requirements

IELTS - 6.5 with no sub-test under 6.0.
TOEFL ibt - 90 with minimum R 20, L 19, S 19, W 23

课程简介

Aeronautical engineering is about how aircraft are designed, constructed and powered, how they are used and how they are controlled for safe operation. Youll take part in practical laboratories, including running a jet engine test, and a flight-testing course in a Saab 340B aircraft during year 5 of the MEng. Aeronautical group design projects are undertaken in collaboration with BAe Systems on a real aircraft project. Students have access to State-of-the-Art experimental facilities which are part of the UK National Wind Tunnel Facility. Final year students will undertake a six month placement in industry, an overseas university or within University of Glasgow research facilities. The programme is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. We have several Engineering student societies, which include JetX, Design-Build-Fly and University of Glasgow Racing (UGR)
