International Baccalaureate 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level
We also welcome applications from students who are taking Level 3 or higher qualifications not on the UCAS tariff calculator and will assess the suitability, on a case by case basis.
In addition to one of the above, you should have:
GCSE English Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English
GCSE Mathematics Grade 4/C or Level 2 Functional Skills in Mathematics
International Qualifications
We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications.
Overall IELTS score of 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).

This extended course is perfect if you want a degree in mechatronics engineering but don't have the standard entry requirements.<br>The focus of the technology-related economy is drastically shifting towards autonomous mechatronic systems, automation and robotics, controlled remotely via smart technology. In 2019, automation and robotics/ mechatronics engineers were the second most in-demand. The demand is also expected to grow rapidly in the next 10 years.<br>This course provides you with analytics and scientific knowledge to design integrated electronics, controls, computers and moving parts. You'll develop problem-solving expertise by creating practical solutions to problems that are directly relevant to industrial needs.<br>Our course has been carefully designed by experts in the field of mechanical engineering to help prepare students for professional practice in the world of interdisciplinary technology.You'll have access to the very latest equipment and resources to carry out this work.
