Mechatronic engineering combines mechanical engineering, electronic and computer engineering and software design to create intelligent machines, such as ‘intelligent’ robots and safer cars. You’ll spend over 50% of the contact hours doing hands-on, practical assignments, tutorials and project work in well-resourced, state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops. You’ll study a wide range of subjects, from Algebra and Geometry, Professional Development for Engineers, Engineering and Electrical Science, Mechanics and Computer-Aided Design to Instrumentation, Design Methodology, Automation and Computer Networks.
