Graduates in Engineering are in very high demand for their ability to design and think innovatively. This two year programme gives the student a great appreciation of how engineers improve our lives every day with their new designs and technologies.<br><br>Students will study engineering skills, design, robotics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and the environmental aspects of engineering. They will learn how to develop new equipment and advanced technologies in a sustainable way to address climate issues.<br><br>Graduates of the Certificate programme have the opportunity to work after two years in an engineering company or to continue on to complete their degree.<br><br>Engineers are involved in almost every aspect of our day-to-day life. Their innovation and design has brought us powerful cars, efficient household appliances and entertainment systems. They combine principles of mechanics, materials and energy to design faster automotive, aeronautical and robotic systems. This two-year programme, which is firmly rooted in the mechanical engineering industry, will introduce you to engineering principles and subjects such as engineering graphics, mechanical science, electrical practice, fluid mechanics, machine dynamics and robotic systems. You'll learn the language of engineers and begin to think like an engineer. In our laboratories, you'll face real-world issues, and your preparation and training will equip you for jobs in industry, particularly in the technician and maintenance fields.
