A-level - We require three A levels with overall grades of AAB in any order, in Mathematics and Physics and one other subject.
GCSE - Five A-C Grades, including English Language, Maths and Physics or Dual Science (We require Grade 4 or above for applicants holding newly reformed GCSEs in England)
International Baccalaureate - 35 points including 665 at Higher Level to include Mathematics, Physics and one other subject and 5 in English Language at Standard Level
Minimum grade C in English Language, or equivalent: IELTS 6.0 (with no component less than 5.5) or TOEFL 550/220 computer -based or 80 internet-based with a minimum of 20 in each component.

This course gives you an excellent grounding in the knowledge and experience of the most fundamental of all engineering disciplines, preparing you for a variety of careers in engineering, technology, business and management. Years 1 and 2 are common with those of the MEng course in Mechanical Engineering. Subject to satisfactory performance, it is possible for you to transfer to the MEng course. Your final year emphasises individual work - you will undertake a major investigative project by yourself. This may require scientific experiments and investigations.<br>3-year course, Full time (Optional foundation year)
