This course requires successful completion of 240 credit points which includes eight core subjects, fourteen key program subjects taken in an engineering specialisation (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical) and two elective subjects at level 2 above, which can be chosen from any discipline available at Sydney City Campus. Students must also undertake 12 weeks of industrial experience.<br>The Bachelor of Engineering Science is offered as an entry program to a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours). It is also offered as a three-year exit course for the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours).<br>The course structure, core subjects and electives are similar to the first three years of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) course.<br>The Bachelor of Engineering Science is offered with key programs in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.<br>At Sydney City Campus, you can complete your three-year bachelor's degree in as little as two years and enter the workforce sooner. A bachelor's degree usually consists of 24 subjects. With our flexible academic calendar, you can study 12 subjects in one year over three trimesters. However, we recommend that you undertake a maximum of 3 subjects per trimester so that your study load is not too demanding. You will have less downtime between trimesters so a lighter study load will help you to have a better chance at passing all of your subjects.
