Taught 120 points -You must have completed a four-year bachelors degree in engineering at a recognised university (or similar institution) that includes: Broad coverage in your first year of the foundational science topics that underpin engineering disciplines: mathematical modelling, chemical and materials science, electrical engineering theory, mechanics, programming, and engineering design. One year of postgraduate-level study. A research project or dissertation comprising at least one-quarter of the final year. You will need a GPE of 4.0.
IELTS (Academic) - Overall score of 6.5 and no bands below 6.0.Internet-based TOEFL (iBT) - Overall score of 90 and a writing score of 21.Paper-based TOEFL - Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21

Enhance your employability in the competitive global market with a qualification that provides advanced technical foundations and industrial perspectives in your chosen field.The MEngSt allows students with academic engineering backgrounds to expand their existing theoretical and practical skills. It is flexible – you can study either full-time or part-time, undertake either a primarily coursework or research-focused programme, and choose from sixteen distinct specialisations.<br><br>This programme ultimately requires an in-depth exploration of your chosen topic. You will demonstrate the high-quality critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are sought-after by employers worldwide. The MEngSt is also a foundation for further study.<br><br>Taught<br><br>This is available as either a 120 or 180-point programme. The option you pursue generally depends on your prior study.<br>The programme structure varies depending on your chosen specialisation – some offer flexibility and the chance to select courses tailored to your interests, while others have specific requirements. Some specialisations are only available as a 120-point option.<br>Research<br><br>This is a 120-point option available for the Food Process Engineering, or Medical Devices and Technologies specialisations only.<br>In both cases, you are required to complete a 90-point research portfolio and two 15-point, taught electives.
