You’ll learn how to design and build infrastructure like bridges, road links and buildings. Protect our communities from the impact of climate change with adaptive and resilient engineering. This degree programme is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), comprising of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Permanent Way Institution on behalf of the Engineering Council. For the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) and partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Chartered Engineer (CEng). Combining state-of-the-art technology with fundamental engineering, this programme will develop your knowledge and skills to tackle global challenges. With a Design Centre and the Makerspace, you’ll be able to apply your new skills in practical facilities. Enjoy working alongside students from other engineering disciplines, so you graduate with interdisciplinary experience. From construction and infrastructure to energy and climate resilience, you’ll be ready for roles in a broad range of fields.
