80 - 168 UCAS points from 3 A levels to include A level Maths.

Other A levels may come from a selection of either Engineering or Technology, Science, Design, Computing or Business related subjects. A level General Studies/Critical Thinking are not accepted.

Advanced Diploma or Access to HE Diploma are also not accepted.

BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering MMP to include Merit in Further Maths.

IB - 80 points from 3 Higher Level subjects to include HL Maths and either Engineering, Technology or Environmental related HL subjects.

GCSE Maths at grade 4 (C), English Language at grade 4 (C) or above.

All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered:

- GCSE English language grade 4 or above
- IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in any band) Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) 72 with band scores of reading 18, writing 17, listening 17, speaking 20

You will learn about civil engineering materials, structural analysis and design as well as building information modelling. During your studies you will have access to the School's excellent facilities which include materials laboratories, light structures, high performance computing and civil engineering software. The Civil Engineering course is offered in partnership with the world renowned BRE, formerly the Building Research Establishment, which allows you access to specialist facilities such as fire testing, and heavy structural engineering, as well as benefiting from lectures and project supervision from internationally recognized experts. Optional Sandwich Placement or Study Abroad year available.
