国际学生入学条件

High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
You must have hands-on experience with oxy-acetylene and shielded metal arc welding process (SMAW in flat position and striking and maintaining an arc).
All applicants are required to pass a practical welding test to ensure prerequisites are satisfied.
If you do not have the required welding experience, consider Introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding I (evening continuing education course).
IELTS: minimum score of 6.0 on each test (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
TOEFL IBT:80, TOEFL PBT: 550

Designed for experienced welders, this program provides skills and knowledge in a broad range of welding practices. The program has been developed in co-operation with industry to meet the increasing demands of the welding and fabrication sector.<br>You learn to repair metal parts and structures, fabricate components and apply safe working practices while using various welding and cutting equipment and techniques. You also learn how to integrate problem-solving skills with the dynamic processes and techniques used in the welding industry and are introduced to blueprint reading and welding symbols, in addition to layout and fabrication skills.
