As a general machinist, you set up and operate a variety of machine tools to cut or grind metal, plastic or other materials to make or modify parts and products with precise dimensions. Individual student attention as a result of highly experienced and supportive professors and small class sizes. State-of-the-art facilities and curriculum grounded in three decades of apprenticeship in-school training. Graduates can seek provincial certification and pursue employment in machinery, equipment, motor vehicle, automotive parts, aircraft and other metal products manufacturing companies and machine shops.
