国际学生入学条件

An applicant must either be a graduate of an accredited BFA, BA, or equivalent degree program or be judged to possess the necessary prerequisite studio proficiency. Admission into the MFA program or Studio Track, MA program of the Department of Art and Design is based on the nature, extent, and quality of preparation in studio, art history, criticism, and other academic subjects. If an applicant is deemed to be deficient in any of these particular areas, the graduate committee may require satisfactory completion of certain undergraduate courses.

The Wood Center focuses on the professional development of the emerging artist in wood.<br><br>Within expansive and exceptionally well-equipped studios, the students become familiar with traditional woodworking and furniture design/building processes as well as contemporary technologies and their capabilities. There is a palpable excitement in the shops as students explore wood as a primary means of personal expression. They develop their skills in artistic design and fine craftsmanship while acquiring a larger understanding of contemporary craft.
