国际学生入学条件

Submit high school/secondary school transcripts or a Self-Reported Academic Record (SRAR). Submit official SAT and/or ACT scores. Scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to Rutgers University using the following institution codes: 2765 (SAT) or 2592 (ACT). Unofficial test scores will not be accepted. SAT scores are not required of students who completed high school/secondary school minimally two years prior to entry to Rutgers University-Newark. Acceptable TOEFL scores 550+ on the paper and pencil test or 79+ on the internet-based test. An IELTS score of 6.0 or higher is acceptable.

The Geoscience program aims to foster the intellectual development of its students within a geoscience perspective, and to prepare them to evaluate critical contemporary issues and problems relating to the earth's physical environment. For anyone contemplating graduate studies and a professional career in geoscience, certain ancillary courses are required and others strongly recommended. The bachelor of arts (B.A.) degree in geosciences requires 65 credits.
