国际学生入学条件
Students who complete the International Baccalaureate IB Diplomawith a minimum score of 24 will be considered for admission.
Minimum grade requirement for any subject is 3.
Students can submit predicted or anticipated results for early fall admission and scholarship purposes.
For high school students the minimum admission requirements include an overall average of 70 percent in Grade 12 with no grade below 65 percent in each of the required subjects Admissions to limited enrolment programs is competitive meeting the minimum average does not guarantee admission.
Please note students who are currently in grade 12 applying for early admissionmust have the program requirements in grade 11 and be registered in the program prerequisites in grade 12 to be eligible for an early offer Otherwise offers will be made after receipt of final first term grade 12 transcript.
IELTS - 6.5 overall and no lower than 6.0 in each band.
TOEFL - 90 iBT and no lower than 20 in each band.
CAEL - 70 overall and no lower than 60 in each band.
Pearson Test of English - Academic - 60 overall with no score below 50.

Earth and environmental scientists find resources (such as the minerals used for your technology), measure and monitor environmental contamination in air, water, and soil, and work with and develop computer models for understanding climate change. As a StFX Earth and Environmental Sciences student, you will have the opportunity to develop skills in data analysis, laboratory, and computer modelling. <br><br>Some of the most exciting learningtakes place in the field, where studies outdoor bridge the gap between textbook descriptions and actual occurrences.The StFX Earth and Environmental Sciences Department has anatural laboratoryjust steps away, where over 620 million years of geological history areexposed for study, and where you can access ecosystems from soaring hardwood forest, to tundra, to rivers and connected wetlands and coastal estuary. <br><br>As one of the mostresearch-intensive departmentson campus, you will haveabundant opportunityto work one-on-one with professors on cutting edge research projects that are regional, national, and international in scope.<br><br>Candidates must follow the degree regulations and program patterns outlined in chapter 7 of the Academic Calendar and complete:<br>Foundations: CHEM 101/102 or 121/122, 6 credits of PHYS 101, 102, 121, 122 and/or BIOL 111, 112<br>Fundamentals: EESC 171,172, 245, 265, 277, 279, 303, 304, 375, 9 credits EESC at the 300-400 level<br>Advanced major program must follow all requirements and complete EESC 301, 302, 305, 365, 377, 491<br>Honours program must follow advanced major requirements and complete EESC 435, 490, 9 credits of EESC electives (or other science courses approved by the department chair)
