High School Transcript is required
An official transcript (preferred) includes the school's official seal or the signature of a school administrator and is either sent directly from the school or submitted in an envelope sealed by the school. Your high school counselor can also email a high school transcript and it will be considered official if submitted from a school email address as verification.
Unofficial transcripts are sufficient to complete your application file
Your transcript must show:
Name
Grades received through the end of the junior year
GPA
Electronic copies are accepted through a secure source (i.e. Parchment, Naviance, TRex, Slate.org, Scribbles, National Clearinghouse, SCOIR and Greenlight).
Paper transcripts may be mailed to the following address and are received in 2-4 weeks.
Official IELTS score of 6.5
Official TOEFL score of 80
GPA - 3.0

The Department of Geosciences offers eight concentrations that are designed to meet the needs of students with a wide range of future career goals. Undergraduates in the Department of Geosciences can take courses leading to the Bachelor of Science in Geosciences or the Bachelor of Arts degree in Earth Science. Students can also receive a minor in Geosciences and Earth Science and a secondary major in Geosciences. The Department of Geosciences curriculum is designed to provide a sound understanding of geology, geophysics, biogeosciences, geochemistry, hydrogeosciene, petroleum geoscience, and climate change. These concentrations lead to the development of a geological perspective of Earth and planetary systems that are essential for continued growth in geological professions. Courses involve research projects, oral presentations, written reports, and fieldwork. Independent field and laboratory research and presentations at professional meetings are regular features of the undergraduate program. Students that receive a degree in Geosciences, or Earth Science have a wealth of career opportunities.
