国际学生入学条件
The Graduate School requires a course-by-course evaluation report showing completion of a bachelors and a graduate degree if required by the program that is equivalent to a US degree from an international college or university recognized and approved by the Ministry of Education or Commission responsible for higher education in the country where the degree is earned.
Students enter Graduate School with no academic standing and are expected to earn at least a GPA of 3.0 in their first semester to be placed in Academic Good Standing Continuing students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in all graduate course work at UNCG to remain in Academic Good Standing.
Academic Transcripts - For US transcripts please follow the normal protocol from your institution when ordering official transcripts For Undergraduate Admissions the International Recruitment and Admissions Office accepts stamped copies of high school transcripts from US community colleges.
IBT TOEFL 79 TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition score report also accepted same score and paper based - 550.
IELTS 6.5 IELTS Indicator also accepted same band score.
Duolingo English Test DET - 110.
ELS - 112 score report.
Kaplan International Higher Intermediate Level.
ELPs must not be more than 2 years old from the date of application submission.
In addition to the application materials required by the Graduate School applicants must submit a onepage personal statement by the appropriate deadline to be considered for Fall Spring or Summer admission
The reporting of GRE scores general and subject test is optional GRE scores will only be taken into consideration for admission if scores are reported by the applicant

The master of science (M.S.) in chemistry engages students in robust coursework and stimulating research under the guidance of award-winning faculty. Students learn the chemical and biochemical principles needed to discover, develop, and design new approaches to fundamental challenges related to health, education, the environment, and energy. <br><br>The required 30 credit hours includes courses in the four major areas of chemistry (analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical), courses in other areas, and a research thesis based on original research carried out under the direction of a faculty advisor.<br><br>With a strong emphasis on teaching, active chemistry faculty include two UNCG Alumni Teaching Excellence Award winners, four College of Arts and Sciences Teaching Excellence award winners, and one UNC Board of Governors Teaching Excellence Award winner.<br>Faculty research is funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation, N.C. Biotechnology Center, and the American Chemical Society Petroleum Research Fund.<br>The program is accredited by the American Chemical Society.
