High school: High School applicants must present five Grade 12 level courses for admission. Included in these five courses, applicants must present the required subjects for their intended program of choice. The specific courses required for your program count towards your Group A courses. The additional subject(s) which may be presented for admission include the following courses from Group A, B, or C.
High School/Secondary and/or Post-secondary (transferable to MRU) courses
2 years of full-time study in English (see list of English-speaking countries below) and English Language Arts 30 1 (equivalent)
TOEFL iBT - 86 (min. 20 in each of four sections)
IELTS - 6.5 (min. 5.5 on each band)

The Physical Literacy major provides an opportunity for graduates to contribute to the physical, emotional, and psychological wellness effects of living an active life. Students who complete this major will contribute to the provincial focus on health and physical education. Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to shift the focus to the importance of physical activity and healthy lifestyles through educating, facilitating and promoting healthy and active lifestyles at the community and recreation levels throughout Alberta.<br>Physical literacy incorporates elements of physical activity and mental and social well-being while fostering the motivation and confidence to lead a healthy and active life. It is much more than participating in sports and physical activity, it's about leading others, and ourselves, to live an active and healthy lifestyle.
