国际学生入学条件

U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.

English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 80 (IBT), paper based – 550, Computer based – 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53. GRE scores are required of all international applicants and all domestic applicants with bachelor’s GPAs beneath 3.25. Those with five or more years of direct experience in hardware through employment may request a waiver of the GRE. The absolute cutoff for acceptance for the sum of the quantitative and verbal portions is 300, although higher scores may be required in some semesters depending on the strength of the applicant pool. The minimum GRE writing score is 3.0.

课程简介

The Department of Computer Engineering offers an 18-unit Cybersecurity Foundations Certificate program to students seeking career opportunities in cybersecurity. The program aligns with the nationally defined knowledge areas and prepares the students with well-grounded fundamentals to become a professional in cybersecurity.<br><br>University Basic Certificate Requirements<br><br>Basic certificate programs provide opportunities for students to pursue specialized, often pre-professional, focused educational objectives that may be separate from a degree program. At least 6 units must be completed at SJSU. Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in basic certificate coursework in order to be awarded a certificate. A maximum of 33% of basic certificate units (e.g., 3 units for a 9-unit certificate) can be completed through Open University at SJSU with approval from the department or school (University Policy S16-17).
