Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following courses:
Grade 12 English (C or U)
Grade 12 Math (C, M or U) with a minimum final grade of 65.
Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment.
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 79 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.

The more we rely on technology in our personal and professional lives, the more sensitive data becomes at risk to cyber attacks. Fanshawe’s Cyber Security program is a three-year advanced diploma that will provide you with foundational information security (InfoSec) skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in the IT security industry. You’ll graduate confident in your ability to provide organizations with data protection against cyber incidents and develop measures to keep critical infrastructures safe.Through hands-on lab activities, case study analyses, and research projects, you’ll enhance your information security understanding and develop your interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. This program will also include three co-operative education work placements to further enhance all of those skills.You’ll begin by exploring foundational topics in our cyber security courses, including information security, ethics, network managementanalysis, programming and scripting, operating systems, and database management.
