The Computer Networking Technology program will teach you how to ensure an organization’s IT runs smoothly and securely, and that all computers, servers and other devices are networked effectively. You will also learn how to implement new infrastructure. Courses include Network and Information Security, Web Technologies, Network Analysis and Design, and Virtualization. You will have the opportunity to explore pathways to various certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate, A, Linux, Security and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist. The Computer Networking Technology program is a CTAB (Canadian Technology Accreditation Board) nationally accredited program at the technologist level.National program accreditation involves an independent team of certified professionals performing an extensive audit, which provides graduates and employers confidence the program meets the educational standards of Canada’s engineering technology and applied science profession.
