To be eligible for admission to an associate degree program at HCC, applicants must submit documentation that they have the equivalent of one of the following: high school equivalency certificate (GED) Associate or higher degree standard high school diploma High School Official High School or GED and ALL post-secondary transcripts are required. HCC transcript is not required. Minimum 2.0 overall GPA. IELTS academic overall band score of 5.5 or higher TOEFL score of 61 (iBT) or higher.

Computed tomography (CT) uses specialized X-ray equipment to visualize cross-sectional anatomical structures inside the body for the demonstration of pathologies and disease processes. The computed tomography certificate trains you to use this equipment to aid physicians in diagnosis and treatment planning.<br><br>Program eligibility is limited to ARRT-registered radiographers, radiation therapists, or nuclear medicine technologists or equivalent (NMTCB) registration. Graduates are eligible to take the post-primary certification exam offered by the ARRT for computed tomography. Successfully passing the ARRT CT exam qualifies you to apply for Florida state licensure and operation of all CT equipment, including diagnostic scanners.
